baton rouge: I May attend LSU for the fall 2011 and I was curious as to what is there to do in Baton Rouge? Like touristy things, yes but also what are good shopping centers, is there good shopping? Good restaurants? Movie theaters? and fun things to do on weekends? OH! also, i know its hot in Baton Rouge but does it get above 100 usually? Or does it ever rain?|||You'll find plenty to do in BR. There are more restaurants/bars than you could ever visit. Go visit the north side of the University and you'll discover many things/places that may lead you to not going very far off campus much. BR does get hot in the summer and fall, and quite humid. But you'll learn how to cope. It's really a good school to attend, so that might be your primary consideration.|||where are you from? yes, it gets hot but like they say...
