So chances are you don't need any licensing. You will need to get general liability insurance, it is fairly cheap (about $50 per month). Then you will need to get a legal entity. This basically just establishes how you will pay your taxes. A good site that you can do it all is www.legalzoom.com. You can also do it on your states secretary of state website, but it is a bit more complicated. That's basically all you need to do. I would recommend getting some sort of tax software to keep track of everything, such as quickbooks. Then hire an accountant to come over for just a couple hours to set up your chart of accounts and show you how to use it.
