baton rouge: I'm flying in to Baton Rouge the Saturday of Mardi Gras. Does anyone know of the best way to get to New Orleans? I want to avoid renting a car because I'm not familiar with driving in the area.|||Greyhound has 5 buses per day from Baton Rouge to New Orleans: http://www.greyhound.com/home/ Baton Rouge's airport is about 7 miles from the Greyhound Station (1253 Florida Blvd.), but there are lots of taxis. The Greyhound Station (which is also the AmTrak Station) in New Orleans is in the Central Business District and there are lots of taxis.
