Moving to Baton Rouge to attend LSU, wife is an accountant, little girl is 1 year old, dog is 2. Where would be the safest part of town to live in?|||Does the "Love Canal" ring a bell? That was the first Superfund site in the United States. Well, Baton Rouge to New Orleans,(Cancer Alley) is Louisiana's version of the "Love Canal". You may want to consider something not so close to town and make the commute. Children are more at risk from contaminates that adults.(Just a thought)
