about a 6 pack "let the good times roll"|||Many of us (on both sides) would say, not far enough!
But, by car on Interstate-10, it's about 82 miles from city limit to city limit, or about an hour and twenty minute drive. Longer in fog (common this time of year), rain, football traffic (Saints or LSU, or rush hours (add at least one hour for rush hour traffic).
It's about 12 to 18 hours however, if you are evacuating from New Orleans in front of a potential hurricane!!!|||It's about 70 miles by road.
Both metro areas are geographically large so it depends on exactly where to where. If you need an exact distance then use a map program (ex. Yahoo Map).|||Its 65 miles from both city limits. But depending on where u are in the city. It could be further.
