I have been seeing it for weeks. Sometimes it seems like its hovering over my house.What is it?? The same thing has been seen in Jersey. Its in the Jersey Evening Post. Next time you see it, give us the time, the direction you're looking, and roughly how far from the horizon it is. But if it's in your south-eastern sky in mid-evening, it's Jupiter|||Venus is in the southwest sky after sunset. Its a good possibility that you are confusing it for a flying object especially with the heat conditions that you are having. Place it over a telephone pole (where it seems to "touch the top")...then make a mark on the ground of where you are standing....go back the next night and stand in the SAME PLACE...you should be able to see how much its moved relative to the top of the telephone pole. Of course if you an LSU fan getting ready for the football season ease off the bourbon and it will disappear completely...(sorry I couldn't help myself with that joke at the end)|||It's the new BP Blimp.
