baton rouge: I went to college in New Orleans for a while, but had to move back home to SC. I loved it there, but I hear the situation has gotten more dismal lately. So my wife and I are looking at moving to Baton Rouge so I can go to LSU. Is it generally a good place to live? What are the pros and cons?|||It is a nice mid sized town. There is lots to do and it used to be quite affordable. Traffic was a problem before Katrina and since it has exploded. Prices have risen considerably post-Katrina as well. Crime too. In short it is a nice place to live, but not as nice as say 10 years ago.
